Gas Compliance Manager

Location: London and South 

The Vacancy

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Gas Compliance Manager  to join our team to provide professional gas support (Commercial and Domestic), advice and coaching at project and regional level across Wates Property Services.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Provide guidance to project teams on service delivery.
  • Undertake a programme of project visits based on risk that ensure the highest level of gas compliance is in place.
  • Ensure all project teams are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities, with regards to gas management.
  • Develop a network of peers within the business supply chain, to influence and ensure Wates policies are understood and deployed.
  • Support teams when investigating gas related incidents in accordance with the above standards.

We are looking for you to be Gas Safe registered and qualified in domestic and commercial systems. You should also have:

  • A proven understanding of the practical application of legislation and industry standards
  • The ability to identify hazards and quantify risks
  • The ability to explain and support understanding of gas related issues in layman’s terms

You will have strong IT skills as well as up to date and relevant technical skills, design awareness knowledge and an understanding of the Quality Control processes and requirements supported by Technical Legislation/ Regulations knowledge.

To be successful in the role you will have effective communications skills - both written and oral, be customer focused and have strong planning & organising skills.
