Job Summary
VHL are actively seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and meticulous person who can demonstrate professional, supportive, and strong leadership skills to join us as a Gas contracts manager at our head office based in Harrow Wealdstone.

The purpose of the role is to lead and manage the operational teams that comprises the responsive and maintenance arm of our business.

Responsibilities
-You will be required to manage the day to day running of the designated contract ensuring full compliance within the company and gas legislation policies. You will be the main link with our client organisations in terms of contract management.

- Manage emergency; urgent, routine, planned and cyclical and related servicing, repairs and installations on all our clients managed/owned properties.

- Undertake role of Principal Contractor as defined in the COM 2015 regulations; acting as nominated person for the client for notification of projects to the HSE, maintaining accurate records of all projects and ensuring that all notifiable projects for the DMS have the required supporting documentation (RAMS /construction Phase Plans).

- You may from time to time be required to go out to contract area sites visits for various reasons i.e., inspections, auditing etc.

- Monitor the gas safety performance and measure against the objectives, targets and KPl's. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct letter procedure is followed along with the no access procedure and ensure 100% compliancy is met on servicing alongside the compliance manager.

- Manage our 24x7x365 out of hours emergency call out service operated on behalf of clients.

- You will be a part of 1 in 4-week senior contract escalation rota on all contracts.

- Attend all contract meetings and report back to the CEO and board members,

- You will be responsible for client satisfaction including complaint resolutions and be required to ensure client satisfaction KPl's are met and maintained.

- Ensure accuracy in the detail of data being collected from assets to resident details on our CRM system.

- You will be responsible for ensuring that all chargeable- extra over work is collated and prepared for invoicing on time.

- You will be responsible for monitoring parts usage and credits returns for any unused materials.

- You will be expected to run regular cost analysis on the contract running and involved in decision making and implementing strategies to ensure efficient running of the contract.

- You will be responsible for ensuring gas quality audits, van audits are carried out on operatives associated on your designated contract.

- You will be required to work closely with HR colleagues on employee related issues that may occur throughout the employee life cycle. You will be involved in the recruiting and management of probationary periods of associated employees and operatives.

- All associated ad hoc administrative duties.

Requirements
- Proven experience in gas operations or a related field
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the gas industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
- Relevant qualifications in gas engineering or a similar discipline.

- Previous contract manager experience preferably from a social housing background.

- Strong leadership skills and experience in management.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
