We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sampler Product Manager & Blood Gas Technical Manager to join our team located in Crawley, West Sussex. This role is a part of the Marketing Team for the UK and Ireland and will own and drive marketing activities to grow and strengthen Radiometer’s position in the Sampler segment and manage the technical elements the Blood Gas portfolio.Radiometer Global – About UsRadiometer is a leading provider of technologically advanced acute care solutions that simplify and automate all phases of acute care testing.With more than 3,200 employees worldwide and direct representation in 32 countries, we help healthcare professionals get fast and accurate information on the most critical parameters in acute care testing, including oxygen, lactate and troponin.Core Role Aspects/ Focus Areas:To become successful, you must be a team player, work well with a number of stakeholders and be able to effectively manage projects and analytical work with timely delivery.Your responsibilities and tasks will include:Product StrategyDrive the strategic direction of the product lines in conjunction with the Management Team and Sales Managers to grow and strengthen the position in the marketPerform data driven market analysis to segment the market and identify target segments to effectively formulate value proposition and price positioningIdentify, develop and activate External Experts in support of the product strategy to create awareness and build peer-to-peer communicationMarketing InitiativesEstablish, develop and monitor the successful execution of product launches, marketing initiatives and campaignsPartner with Sales Organisation to define positioning and messaging and to secure commercial success of product launches and marketing initiativesLead cross functional marketing initiatives that meet business objectives and revenue targets by collaborating with Sales, MSCs and ServiceBuild marketing programmes that include customer facing material, lead generating campaigns, clinical and scientific materialIdentify and help organise key congresses, events and trade shows to promote the product line and engage External Experts as speakersEstablish appropriate KPIs to monitor business impact and traction as well as ROI of initiativesBuild relationships with key customers and external expertsReadiness and ExecutionAct as the subject matter expert, demonstrating expertise on products, competitors and clinical and scientific topicsThe Sampler Product Manager will work closely with all business units to ascertain the tools, support and knowledge they require to ensure they are confident and comfortable with the product linesIn conjunction with the Sales Managers, review and monitor sales funnels to meet current and longer-term targets both in terms of product salesIdeationThe Sampler Product Manager owns the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas, campaigns and projectsThe Sampler Product Manager will suggest which ideas should be promoted to push the product strategy forward — namely those that will achieve key objectives for the product line and businessIncrease market awareness by generating new innovative ways to increase product and clinical benefits via numerous channels including external experts, testimonials, and exhibitionsTechnical Support of Blood GasSupporting internal and external customers with technical queriesSupporting internal and external customers with application queriesManaging quality issuesCompletion of tendersOrganisational Knowledge, Coaching & SupportThe Sampler Product Manager will support internal training for new and existing staff and develop methods to benchmark competencies across the organisationSupport Function of Marketing Supporting internal and external customer queries, managing product allocation and regulatory issuesSupporting and completing tenders within the required timeline with “best in class” responsesProvide support and complete projects as directed by the Marketing ManagerRequirements for this positionEducation and ExperienceLife Science graduate (such as Biomedical Science or Biochemistry) or equivalent industry experienceCommercial experience e.g. Sales or Marketing within the medical equipment industry required – experience with POC diagnostic testing devices an advantage but not a requirement ITCompetent in MS Office, particularly ExcelConfident with computer systems and software, including CRMTravel (required estimated % of time)Approximately 20% of timeTravel to Copenhagen and other subsidiaries when requiredTravel nationally in the UK and IrelandWhy Apply?Radiometer Ltd is a great place to work, we consider our people as one of our most important assets.
