If you are an experienced Gas Heating Engineer who wants to join somewhere that provides and maintains safe, secure and warm places that people are proud to call home - you belong at Bromford. As part of our service delivery team, you’ll be there for our customers whenever they need you. The main aspect of the role will be carrying out Landlord’s Gas Safety Checks within our customers’ homes and will include the repair and maintenance of Gas central heating boilers and associated heating systems. Although you will be predominantly working on natural gas appliances, qualifications in LPG,OIL or Air source heating would be beneficial. You will need to ensure that all our properties and our customers receive the highest levels of service and display a right first-time approach. You will be confident with boiler fault finding, upgrading works including radiator replacements and be competent with heating system electrics. You will complete all relevant safety checks and provide electronic gas certification upon completion of the jobs. You will be provided with the associated battery powered tools to complete your tasks and be provided with a Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser. You’ll need to have a full, clean driving licence, willing to work 40 hours per week and be prepared to join an on-call rota. The ideal candidate will hold the following: CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CPA1, CKR1, HTR1Unvented Hot Water Systems, Oil & LPG qualified, HETAS, and ASHP would be beneficial Full, clean driving licence. This role is based from our office in South Gloucestershire (BS37) but include travel across the surrounding areas as the business needs.
