Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our Gas/Installation team, ideally based in Herefordshire. If you are a highly skilled, motivated and a customer focused engineer, qualified with ACS and level 3 plumbing or equivalent, with more than 2 years’ experience working in the installing area of the heating/plumbing industry, then we would like to hear from you!

Your main role will include:

  • Carrying out boiler replacement, Boiler conversions and Full central heating installations within our properties at Connexus, as part of an ongoing programme of works.
  • Installing Bathrooms with includes tiling and some minor carpentry work.
  • 1st and 2nd fix plumbing of new kitchen installs

Additional to the main role, when required:

  • Installation and maintenance of Unvented Hot water system
  • Gas boiler servicing and repairs, diagnosing faults and repairing on different types of heating systems. Renewables servicing and repairs.
  • Completing general plumbing responsive repairs.
  • Surveying of upcoming installation works.

Required Qualifications:

  • Gas Safe qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
  • G3 Unvented
  • NVQ plumbing level 3 qualification

The successful candidate will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota, providing cover during evenings and weekends on a standby basis. A standby allowance is payable, along with an additional hourly payment for any call-outs attended, all of which is paid on top of the basic salary.
