Job Description Job Purpose The Lead Gas Engineer is responsible for overseeing the delivery of gas servicing, maintenance, and installation works within social housing properties. The role ensures all gas-related works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities Supervise a team of gas engineers carrying out servicing, breakdowns, repairs, and installations within occupied and void social housing properties. Ensure all gas works comply with Gas Safe regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and company procedures . Plan and allocate daily workloads to engineers to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and contract requirements. Monitor engineer productivity, performance, and quality of work through regular audits and site inspections. Provide technical guidance and support to engineers when diagnosing complex faults.
