Commercial Gas Engineer for Mechanical Contractor - Glasgow - 36K - door to door travel plus OT    You will be responsible for carrying out gas PPM works, boiler installations, gas testing and reacting to breakdowns to a wide range of gas fired and heating appliances including boilers, burners, hot water systems and associated ancillary plant and equipment.Skills and qualifications:ACS Commercial Gas certified – COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 and TPCP1A as a minimumStrong technical skills and extensive commercial fault-finding experienceSkilled in all aspects of commercial gas servicing and maintenanceCustomer-focussed with excellent communication skillsGood problem-solving skillsAbility to work on own initiative and within teamsFull UK driving licenceRequires Disclosure/Police checks Salary 36KDoor to door travel 30 days holiday (including public holidays) Hours Monday - Friday 08.00 -16.30 OT paid thereafter

Job purpose In your new role as a Mobile Plumbing Engineer you will undertake inspection and repairs across a variety of commercial plumbing and drainage installations including: Pipework inspections, adaptions and repairs including associated equipment (pumps / expansion vessels / PRV's / TMV's etc.), drainage inspections and sanitation repairs or replacement. Hot Water generation and distribution systems. Water Hygiene maintenance and inspections. All work would need to be completed to SFG20 or relevant ACoP's as applicable.
