About the Role : We’re looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Gas Engineer to join our team in Peterborough delivering high-quality gas servicing, repairs, and installations across our clients’ housing stock. Your role will be vital in ensuring that all gas appliances and systems are safe, compliant, and fit for continued use. You’ll carry out a range of domestic gas works including boiler diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and installations.   We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Gas  Engineer covering the East of England   Job reference number 338784   Salary -  £ 44,551.95  per annum plus standby allowance £290 per week, when on rota, and appropriate overtime rate when attending the call, 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service plus bank holidays     Contract: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks) - typical attendance will be 08:00 until 16:00 Monday to Friday however, flexibility is essential. You will cover postcode areas (PE) Peterborough, (CB) Cambridge and (SG) Stevenage You’ll be required to join an out of hours callout rota 1 in 4 weeks covering a wider area in PE and CB postcodes only.   Flexibility is key — you'll be working across multiple sites within a defined area, and a company vehicle will be provided to support your travel.
